SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — The Little Leaguers are packing quite the punch at this year's World Series.

Curacao scored three times in the fifth inning to rally for a 4-3 victory over Canada in an elimination game. Mychellon Jansen's solo homer provided the go-ahead run.

Also Monday, California topped New Jersey 5-4 when 12-year-old slugger Danny Marzo hit an 0-1 pitch on to the grassy hill beyond the right-field wall for the winning homer in the bottom of the eighth.

Nebraska will return home with a win after scoring 15 runs in the second inning of a 17-1 victory over Ramstein, Germany in a consolation game. The 15 runs were a World Series record for one inning.

This was the first time a Nebraska team had qualified for the tournament.
