'Idol' contestant to singe at Orem church

OREM — The Rev. George Lower will preach on the "Christian Fellowship" based on Psalm 111 and Ephesians 5:15-20 on Sunday, Aug. 19, at 10:30 a.m. School School is available for children, and fellowship time follows church.

This week during the service, soloist Kalli Georgellis will offer two inspirational songs. Kalli is an "American Idol" Season 11 contestant, a Hollywood Top 98, and the regular soloist at OCC.

New Morning Church sets Sunday services

Calvary City to host midweek Bible study

Sojourn Community now open in Magna

MAGNA — Sojourn Community Church is a new church meeting under the direction of Pastor Kenneth Blinn. Services are held Sundays at 5:30 p.m. at the Webster Community Center in Magna, 8952 W. Magna Main.
