SALT LAKE CITY — After the announcement of Paul Ryan as the Republican vice presidential candidate, Utah Republican Party Chairman Thomas Wright made a statement supporting Mitt Romney's choice.
"Paul Ryan is prepared and would be ready to serve as Commander in Chief if called upon. He also understands the importance of pro-growth economic policies and the need to reduce Americas massive debt and to stop reckless spending. The Romney-Ryan ticket will help small businesses and will build the American middle class offering a stark contrast to Obama's failed economic policies that have left each American household with $520,000 worth of debt."

‘Utah Republican Party Chairman Thomas Wright: VP pick Paul Ryan understands America’
Great, because we have a president who doesn't know how many states make up our country, or has ever created an annual budget.
The Utah GOP chairman thinks that Ryan is a great running mate pick? Wow. What a scoop. Think it'll be warm tomorrow?
