WEST JORDAN 4, KEARNS 0: After taking a one-goal advantage into the half, West Jordan barreled ahead for three goals in the second half to down visiting Kearns. Rachel Green recorded the shutout.
FREMONT 8, HERRIMAN 2: Mariah Elmer netted the hat trick in the first 12 minutes of the game, and finished with four goals to lead Fremont to a lopsided win on the road.
AMERICAN FORK 5, WEST 2: American Fork dominated the first half, bagging five goals en route to its first victory of the season.
CLEARFIELD 3, STANSBURY 2: Clearfield scored a pair of early goals, and were able to hold defensively after the first half to down visiting Stansbury. Ellie Penner's goal sealed the win courtesy of a Brinley Adams assist.
SYRACUSE 3, ROY 1: Logan Harker, Brady Harris, and Courtney Lemmons all netted goals to contribute in the Syracuse win.
LONE PEAK 1, OREM 0: Jessica Smith scored the game's lone goal on an assist from Hannah Hyde. Goalkeepers Sara Boley and Julia Vaughan combined for the shutout.
HIGHLAND 2, MOUNTAIN VIEW 0: Kyra Heesch gave Highland the one-goal advantage at the half, and Ana Moran netted the final goal to lead the Rams to victory. Abby Wilcox and April Owens split the shutout.
MURRAY 4, TAYLORSVILLE 3: Megan Zullo, Tara Furlong, Maddie Buckner and Lizzy Braby all scored for Murray as the Spartans opened the 2012 season with a high scoring victory over Taylorsville.
BINGHAM 2, TIMPANOGOS 1: Carla Swensen equalized after slipping past a few defenders to find the back of the net. Marly Olsen converted on a set piece just outside the box to lift Bingham to the extra time win.
VIEWMONT 2, BOUNTIFUL 1: Karrie Pead found the back of the net twice, including the game winner late in extra time in the preseason win over Bountiful.
GRANGER 3, CYPRUS 0: Stephanie Camareno and Denise Cuenca both had a goal in the second half to bury Cyprus, while Berenice Braccamontes recorded the shutout for Granger.
WEBER 2, BEN LOMOND 1: Katrina Espinoza found a goal for Ben Lomond, but Weber dominated offensively to take the win on the road.
COTTONWOOD 5, HUNTER 0: Cottonwood played solid defense to open the season with a shutout victory over Hunter.
PLEASANT GROVE 2, MAPLE MOUNTAIN 1: Ashley McBee and Lucy Borland scored goals for the Vikings who opened the season with a victory over visiting Maple Mountain. Courtney Fryer scored the lone goal for Maple Mountain.
TIMPVIEW 1, CEDAR 0: Kanui Munoz scored the game winner off an assist by Liza Smith for Timpview. Ashley King recorded the shutout.
EAST 3, OLYMPUS 2: Madison Roemer met the net twice while Taylor Garn snuck in the tie-breaker for the Leopards.
