Hundreds of potential pet owners come to the Salt Lake City PetSmart parking lot Sunday, July 29, 2012 to look at dozens of cats and dogs. The animals that didn't get adopted can be seen on petfinder.com.

Dozens of adorable puppies, kittens, dogs and cats of were on display for adoption during the Doggie and Kitty Carnival held Saturday and Sunday in the PetSmart parking lot at 389 West 1830 South, Salt Lake City. The event was organized by Best Friends Animal Society with the hope of finding homes for animals from local shelters.
