University of Utah and Chinese swimmer Xiaohong Wang won an Olympic silver medal in the women's 200-meter butterfly with a time of 2:09.01. American Summer Sanders touched the wall just before her, in a time of 2:08.67. Wang swam a hundredth of a second better than her personal best to earn her first Olympic medal.
