SALT LAKE CITY — New searchable image collections are online this week for Nevada and South Africa on FamilySearch.org. Records and images have been added for 10 other countries, including Austria, Chile, China, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Korea, Peru, Portugal, Spain and the United States, according to a news release.
The new collections include 14,425 images for the "United States, Nevada, County Birth and Death Records, 1871-1992" and nearly 204,000 images for "South Africa, Western Cape, Various Records" collection.
Also, 386,000 records have been added to the BillionGraves index, more than 231,000 images to "Czech Republic, Land Records, 1450-1889" and about 165,000 records to the "United States, Civil War Widows and Other Dependents Pension Files."
