SALT LAKE CITY — Two research series will be at the Family History Library on Aug. 18.
The classes on English research are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and topics include "Census Records and Indexes," "Civil Registration Records and Indexes," "Church of England Records and Indexes" and "Assisted Practice Time."
The classes on Italian research are from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. and topics include: "Italian (Church and Civil) Marriage Records," "How to Decipher Parish Records (Italy)," "Reading and Indexing Italian Records," "Records You Never Knew Existed (Italy)" and "Italian Internet Resources."
To view the class schedule online, go to www.family search.org. To register for these free classes, send an email to FHLClassReg@familysearch.org or call 801-240-4950. The classes will be in the Family History Library in downtown Salt Lake City. The library is located to the west of Temple Square on West Temple between North Temple and South Temple Streets in downtown Salt Lake City. On Saturdays, parking is free to library patrons and is located behind the Church History Museum.
