ROCKIES 7, OWLZ 2: At Grand Junction, Colo., excellent hitting by Grand Junction gave it the blowout victory with 13 hits. Alving Mejias allowed just three hits in six scoreless innings for Grand Junction. Ben Waldrip hit a 2-run homer to give his team a 3-0 lead.
