Summary

Obama does get the credit for falling gas prices.

Obama does get the credit for falling gas prices ("Obama deserves credit," Readers' Forum, June 27). After all, his "scorched earth" economic policies and his politics of division have everyone staying home, not spending, and therefore driving less.

While it is a simple case of supply and demand, there are better ways of lowering gas prices than throwing the baby out with the bath water.

I am loving the sour grape parade by conservatives this morning, first they want to blame Obama when they claimed gas prices would be over $5.00 a gallon by now and now they want to claim he gets none of the credit for gas prices going down. Your More..

To Star Bright: You seem to have forgotten that gas prices were over $4.00 a gallon in the last year of Bush's presidency. Bush was not responsible for that price point. Neither is Obama responsible either for the increase in prices, nor for More..
