The Jazz traded Blue Edwards, who only learned of the trade during a visit to the public relations office, Eric Murdock and the No. 23 pick in the 1992 NBA Draft to the Milwaukee Bucks. For the trade, the Jazz got future University of Utah head coach Larry Krystkowiak and Jay Humphries. Krystkowiak averaged nine points and 5.4 rebounds in the 1991-92 season. Krystkowiak said he felt comfortable with the move.
