Letter: Dan Liljenquist cares about keeping promises to America's seniors, future generations
Dan Liljenquist speaks to reporters after participating in a debate with Utah Sen. Orrin Hatch at KSL in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Friday, June 15, 2012.

In response to "Concerned about Dan Liljenquist due to silence about seniors" (Readers' Forum, June 18):
Dan Liljenquist is committed to keeping the promises our government has made to America's seniors. Liljenquist understands that in order for Social Security and Medicare to survive, reforms must be made to put them on a sustainable course.
Congress has continued to kick the can down the road and has done nothing to fix the problems we have known about for years. It's time to make the needed changes, before it's too late.

Great letter. Dan Liljenquist knows that the government needs to keep its promises to seniors regarding Social Security and Medicare. He plans to put these programs back onto solid footing. Currently they are NOT – Social Security and More..
