Salt Lake City's Austin Banz won the boys State Junior Amateur Match Play at the Alpine Country Club on Friday with a 5 and 4 win over Ogden's Alex Herzog in the 15-18 age division.

For the girls, South Jordan's Sirene Blair defeated Farmington's Jessica Sloot 5 and 4.
