SALT LAKE CITY — The Glenn Miller Orchestra will perform at 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Capitol Theatre.
More than 20 musicians and singers will perform classic songs, such as "In the Mood," "Moonlight Serenade," "Chattanooga Choo Choo," "Pennsylvania 6-5000," "String of Pearls" and "Tuxedo Junction."
They are "those songs that everyone remembers," the event's producer, Didier Morissoneau, said in a news release. "The legendary Glenn Miller was the most successful of all the dance band leaders back in the Swing era of the 1930s and '40s."
Tickets, which are $60, $65 and $70, are available at the ArtTix box office at 50 W. 200 South, going to www.arttix.org or by calling 888-451-2787.
