Christian Health Week launches thanks to former 'Biggest Loser' contestants

Our take: RetroFit Ministries was created by Pastor Ken Andrews and his son Austin after they spent time as contestants on "The Biggest Loser." Based on what they learned on the show about health and weight loss, Ken and Austin started their company to combine health-focused lessons with their Christian faith so they can spread hope in multiple ways.

Pastor Ken Andrews and son Austin will lead a new venture combining their pastoral skills and Christian faith with the power of what they learned as contestants on The Biggest Loser to change lives within the Christian community.

Retrofit Ministries plans to bring health and weight loss and the message of Hope and Freedom in Jesus Christ to events in communities across the country. Ken and Austin will be hosting RetroFit the week of September 30 October 7, 2012, with reservations being accepted starting May 21, 2012, at The Biggest Loser Resort Niagara. During this week, in addition to boot camp style workouts, healthy lifestyle tips and spa cuisine, Ken and Austin will be sharing biblical teaching and personal Christian support to further develop the body, soul and mind.

The inspiring father and son team will be traveling the country speaking in churches and attending church and community health and fitness events from Sunday services to 5ks.
