SANDY — It was a tough day for United in the high school club rugby championship game.
United, a Utah County team based in Alpine, was throttled by Indianapolis-based Cathedral High School, 51-0, Saturday morning at Rio Tinto Stadium.
On Friday, Utah Valley University fell, 57-10, in the semifinals to Lindenwood, which ended up claiming the DII championship Saturday by defeating Salisbury, 50-12.
In the DI-AA championship match, Davenport blanked San Diego State, 39-0.
