God can see a persons abilities and knows the challenges they will face. The electorate can't do either as well and therefore judge on more superficial data.

I love how believers talk so confidently about the thoughts, desires, character traits, opinions, generosity, punitiveness, and "love" of a fictional creature whom none of them have ever met, heard from, seen, or had any contact with.
