MLS roundup: High-scoring New York star Thierry Henry hurt in victory

Brek Shea opened the scoring for Dallas (3-3-3), converting a penalty shot in the 61st minute.

Robbie Keane failed on his own penalty attempt in the 47th minute for the Galaxy. The Irish striker stepped up in place of Landon Donovan and missed badly to the right.

Galaxy goalkeeper Bill Gaudette made his first MLS start in 5 1/2 years. Starter Josh Saunders missed the game to attend to personal matters.

RAPIDS 4, CHIVAS 0: At Commerce City, Colo., Matt Pickens had his third shutout of the season to tie the Colorado record of 25, and the Rapids beat Chivas USA to snap a three-game losing streak.

Pickens matched Joe Cannon's franchise record for shutouts and pushed his overall MLS total to 36.

Kamani Hill had two goals, and Tony Cascio and Jeff Larentowicz also scored for Colorado (4-4-0).

Chivas dropped to 3-5-0.
