LOGAN — Utah State football will be concluding spring drills on Saturday with the annual Blue-White Spring Game, which begins at 2 p.m. (MT) at Romney Stadium. A plethora of activities surround Saturday's Utah State football spring game, highlighted by USU athletics' new logo unveiling as well as HURD Bowl III.
New USU women's basketball head coach Jerry Finkbeiner will also be in attendance to meet fans, and will be introduced at halftime.
Admission for all of Saturday's events is free to the public.
The press conference will start at 12:30 p.m. and will be held in the Spetman Auditorium on the second floor of the Jim & Carol Laub Athletics-Academics Complex at the north end of Romney Stadium. Live streaming of the event will be available via USU's website at www.utahstateaggies.com.
Fans attending the spring game will also have the opportunity to see the new uniforms prior to the start of the game, as the student-athletes who modeled the uniforms at the press conference will also be introduced onto the field at approximately 1:50 p.m.
The HURD Bowl III semifinals will start at 12:30 p.m., followed by the championship game at 1 p.m. on the turf of Merlin Olsen Field at Romney Stadium. The teams will be coached by current Aggie players, with Team 1 under the leadership of CB Will Davis. Team 2 will be coached by WR Matt Austin while Team 3 will be guided by LB Terrell Thompson and Team 4 will be led by S McKade Brady and WR Travis Van Leeuwen.
