Vione I. Schow1932 ~ 2012Vione I. Schow, age 80, passed away April 19, 2012 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born January 9, 1932 in Hyrum, Utah to Eilert Kenneth and Viola Mae Anderson Israelsen. She married Robert Rivers Schow on September 12, 1952 in the Logan Temple.She enjoyed many hobbies including writing, quilting and other handiwork. She published a novel, Phay Vanneth Dead or Alive? She held many calling in the LDS church including 5 years as Relief Society President in the Cambodian Branch.She is survived by her children, Geileen, Jeanette (Harmon) Hodgkinson, Paul Kay (Shannon), Lois Marie (Don) Hall, Nola Jean (Dan) Jester and James Robert (Melisa) Schow; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert and a brother, Marlin.Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 24th, 11:00 a.m. at the Taylorsville 23rd Ward, 4932 So. 3200 W. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6 8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 So. Redwood Rd. and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 W. 4100 So. West Valley City.
