Clifford & Viola WhiteTogether ForeverOur sweet father and loving mother passed away within two weeks of each other. Clifford Sidney White, 95, died on March 16, 2012, and our beautiful mother, Viola Barton Devenberg, 88, joined him on March 31st. They will be missed by so many. They shared their love and compassion with all who knew them. Dad served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. He became a paint contractor, working on such projects as the LDS tabernacle, Hoover Dam, BYU Science building, and countless churches. Mother worked for Utah Craft for years. She enjoyed meeting people and serving where she could. She had an artistic touch, a true love of music, and a beautiful soprano voice. They both held many callings in the LDS church. Their family was their pride and joy. As parents, no one could ask for more. They were the best! We imagine them together dancing their way through heaven, just as they danced their way through life. Their eternal daughters: Gay Bailey (George), Sybil Anderson (Kjell), Rachelle Martin Waldron (Floyd), Lonne White-Martin (Brian), and Celia Didier (Clete). Funeral services will be held April 28th at 1:00 pm with a viewing at noon at the Brookshire Ward, 3487 South 1300 East. Interment at the SLC Cemetery.
