Bees 6, 51s 4
In short: A two-run single by Alexi Amarista in the second inning gave the Bees an advantage after tying the game at 2 in the first. With two outs in the second, Ed Lucas and Mike Trout each singled before coming home thanks to a big hit to right field from Amarista. Andrew Romine had an RBI double in the third and Ryan Langerhans snagged a run-scoring single in the sixth to add two more runs. Hank Conger led the Bees with three hits, extending his hitting streak to 11 games.
Keith Johnson's take: "We have depth with guys that are aggressive but see a lot of pitches and guys that aren't going to give in. Having that depth throughout the lineup helps because it makes pitchers pitch."
Record: 10-4
