FRISCO, Texas — Yu Darvish struck out five over four scoreless innings in his first game in Texas, leading the Rangers to a 6-1 victory Wednesday against Double-A Frisco in their final exhibition game of the spring.

Darvish struck out the first two batters he faced, even after going to a 3-0 count on leadoff hitter Jurickson Profar, one of the Rangers' top prospects.

After going 1-0 with a 3.60 ERA in four Cactus League starts in Arizona, Darvish got his final tuneup before his anticipated major league debut Monday night at Rangers Ballpark against Seattle. He walked two and allowed two singles.

Josh Hamilton doubled in a run and scored on Michael Young's single for a quick 2-0 lead.
