CEDAR CITY — Southern Utah University officials, in a move supported by the University's Board of Trustees, released baseball coaches David Eldredge and Chase Hudson from their coaching responsibilities today.
The move takes effect immediately, with about six weeks remaining in SUU's final baseball season. The program will be discontinued next month as the school makes final preparations to enter the Big Sky Conference.
Assistant coach Clayton Carson will be assisted by SUU athletics administrator Kit Janes in helping to lead the team during the final stretch of the program's history.
