Cecile Humphries Rosvall"Together Again"Cecile H. Rosvall, of St. George, Utah, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, March 23, 2012. She was born August 16, 1914, to Frank and Olive Terry Humphries and was raised, one of 14 children, in Abraham, Utah. She married her eternal companion, Oran H. Rosvall, in the Salt Lake Temple on February 28, 1938 and together they raised five children, Rhea, Gene, Craig, Hal and Terry.Cecile was blessed with a love of music. She had a beautiful, rich contralto voice and sang for over 32 years with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Singing hymns or listening to them played or sung was a great joy to her, even to her last moment on earth. Throughout her life she loved to read good books, do temple and family history work, and study the scriptures. She was an active member of DUP. Her lifelong membership in the LDS church was the center and constant thread of her life. She shared her testimony on six LDS missions, in many various church leadership positions, with family members and friends, and in her last years with workers and fellow residents of hospitals and her care center. She was always positive and her bright mind was alert with a ready comment, laugh or joke to share. She loved life and she was happiest when she was serving others.Referring to herself as "Cookie Grandma," she loved to bake delicious pies or cookies, make beautiful quilts and afghans, garden and grow beautiful roses. Her husband and children were the most important roses in her garden of life. She was a loving, devoted and patient companion, friend and mother. She is now enjoying the blessing of eternal life. She will be deeply missed here on earth, but we know the heavens are rejoicing with her return. We love her.Cecile is survived by four children, Rhea Tiffany, Craig (Sharri), Hal (Brenda), Terry (Patti) and daughter-in-law, Pat, 22 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and 10 great, great grandchildren.
