Jimmer Fredette of Sacramento smiles as the Sacramento Kings face the Utah Jazz in NBA basketball in Salt Lake City, Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012.
Ravell Call, Deseret News
Former BYU basketball star Jimmer Fredette is the subject of many articles lately chronicling his rocky rookie season, including "Kings' Fredette goes from mania to murmur" in the Sacramento Bee.
"The Jimmer? Check back in a month. This isn't over," writes Ailene Voisin. "This is the NBA, the global game of unpredictable twists and turns, along with the accompanying high drama. In February, Fredette's older brother, T.J., tweeted unflattering comments about the Kings' head coach, causing a mini-furor within social networking circles and placing Jimmer in an awkward situation within his own locker room. Four weeks later, it's as if the incident never happened."
