Men's basketball roundup: Southern Utah loses to Oral Roberts for 19th straight time
CHAMINADE 73, DIXIE STATE 71: At St. George, Chaminade had four players in double figures, led by Rickey Clayborn's 24, but the Red Storm nearly came back from an 8-point deficit at halftime. McKay Massey led Dixie State with 14 points.
SLCC 83, COLORADO NORTHWESTERN 65: At Taylorsville, the Bruins (21-8, 8-6 SWAC) shot 50 percent from the field while holding CNCC to just 33 percent from the field.
Louis Garrett led Salt Lake with 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting and Skyler Halford added 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting with six rebounds. Sean Carey and Jordan Bernardo each scored 12 points and Jayson Cheesman finished with 10.
SNOW COLLEGE 88, USU-EASTERN 82: At Ephraim, after trailing by two at the half the Badgers put on a long-distance shooting clinic to come from behind.
In the first half, the Badgers shot their way to an early 8-point lead behind Tiegbe Bamba's 12 points while Travis Wilkins added 10 and Teancum Stafford had eight points and eight rebounds. That lead slipped away when Snow College's outside shooting went cold.
Snow College finished the first half shooting 38 percent from the field and 35 percent from 3-point range.
The Badgers made a run and the game was close for the entire second half as Eastern Utah could not shake the Badgers. There were 14 lead changes and nine ties in the hotly contested game.
Snow College was led by Connor Van Brocklin, who scored 19 second-half points and finished with 25. Bamba finished with a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds while Brandon Vega added a double-double with 15 points and 10 assists. Wilkins finished with 13 points and Stafford had 11.

Five straight losing seasons is the antthesis of what Stew has done in Cache Valley. I am sure Roger Reid is a stand up guy but he is not making good things happen in Cedar.
