Doing the right thing is focus of sermon

OREM — Rev. Kevin Miller will present a sermon called "Why do the right thing?" during worship services at Orem Community Church Sunday, Feb. 26, at 10:30 a.m.

The sermon is based on 1 Peter 3: 18-22. Please join us for food and fellowship after the service. Sunday School is available for youth and children.

2 churches to host financial course

A 13-week course by Dave Ramsey called "Financial Peace University" is being hosted at two local churches.

In Springville, it will be held at the LDS Church at 355 E. Center on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. Call 801-798-5517 for more information.

And in Salt Lake City, it will be held at the Southeast Christian Church, 1881 Vine, on Thursdays at 7 p.m. Call 801-272-5256 for more information.

guest speaker featured at RMBC

BRIGHAM CITY — Pastor Steve Barsuhn will turn the pulpit over to Pastor Vic Ransom during worship services on Sunday, Feb. 19, at 10:30 a.m. at Rocky Mountain Bible Church.

Pastor Ransom is a son of long-time Brigham City residents Ira and Eleanor Ransom.

Sunday school is held at 9:30 a.m. and will feature study of the book of Joshua.
