Utah Jazz: Jefferson expected to play tonight, Bell gametime decision

SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Jazz starting center Al Jefferson, who suffered a slight abdominal pull in Sunday night's loss to the Houston Rockets, is expected to be ready to go for tonight's home game against the San Antonio Spurs.

Jefferson, who leads the Jazz in scoring and rebounding this season with averages of 19.1 points and 9.3 rebounds per game, practiced with the team at Monday morning's shootaround.

Starting shooting guard Raja Bell, who scored 11 points Sunday, sat out Monday's shootaround and will be a gametime decision due to a left adductor strain. That's the same injury that forced him to miss three games earlier this season.

Veteran San Antonio guard Manu Ginobili will miss tonight's game with a strained left oblique, an injury he sustained last week and then re-aggravated in Saturday's game against the L.A. Clippers.
