Robert Osborn Brunson1931 ~ 2012Robert Osborn Brunson passed away peacefully at his home on February 15, 2012 surrounded by his loving family.Robert was born March 22, 1931 in Tucson, Az. In his youth, he moved to Southern California where he later met and married his sweetheart, Saralyn Valantine, on March 17, 1951. Robert was strongly patriotic. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was also a faithful member the LDS church, serving as a bishop and high councilor. He served several missions for the church, including a mission with Saralyn in South Africa. Robert had a deep love for the beauties of nature and loved spending time in the outdoors with his family. Robert was loved and adored by his family and is survived by his wife Saralyn, his eight children Rob, Ross, Rick, Paula, Reed, Randy, Shanna, and Rebecca, his 28 grandchildren with one on the way, and his 18 great-grandchildren with one on the way. We love you and will miss you dearly.There will be a viewing on Sunday, February the 19 from 6pm to 7pm at the Copperhills Stake Center at 5176 Parr Drive (5176 West, 8430 South), West Jordan, Ut. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 20th. The viewing will start at 10am and the funeral will begin at 11am. Graveside services will be held directly after the funeral at the Wasatch Lawn South Valley Memorial Park located at 13001 South 3600 West in Riverton, Ut.
