It will may take up to two years to dig the country out of economic hardship said President Obama in a handwritten letter to an unemployed carpenter in Maine.
"I won't lie to you," the president wrote, "It will probably take another year or two to fully dig our way out of this hole."
Charles Oliver, the recipient of the letter, says that he is frustrated because he has not see any of the recovery that the President and the media have been touting.
