NICE, France (AP) -- A man brandishing a razor attacked French pairs skater Stephane Bernadis in his hotel today, a French team official said.
The attack occurred at his room in a hotel adjacent to the Palais des Expositions, where the World Figure Skating Championships began Monday. Bernadis and his partner, Sarah Abitbol, finished fourth in the short program Monday night, and were scheduled to practice later today.The pair's manager, Gilles Beyer, said Bernadis was cut in the arm, but the severity of the injury was not immediately known.
