Here's a list of selected family activities.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Central Utah Stars Dance Studio, 576 W. State Road 198, Salem, will host a Kindermusik Valentine class, "Let Me Call You Sweetheart," Feb. 13, 10-10:45 a.m., 11:15-noon or 1-1:45 p.m.; and Feb. 14, 10-10:45 a.m. The class is intended for children ages 6 months-5 years. Hogle Zoo, 2600 E. Sunnyside Ave., will host "Woo at the Zoo," Feb. 18, 10-2 p.m. Regular admission applies. (801-582-1631 or www.hoglezoo.org)

The Leonardo, 209 E. 500 South, will host Repertory Dance Theatre for "A Day of Dance," Feb. 18. Movement explorations will be held at 11:30 a.m. and 12, 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. The theme of the day is the importance of clean air. Utah Museum of Fine Arts, 410 Campus Center Drive, will host the "Art of the Circus Family Celebration," Feb. 18, 1-4 p.m. Admission is free. (801-581-7332 or umfa.utah.edu)

Westminster College, 1840 S. 1300 East, is offering free admission to the Westminster women's basketball game, Feb. 18, 5:30 p.m., for girls ages 6-14 and one guest who mention National Girls and Women in Sorts Day. Tracy Aviary, 589 E. 1300 South, is now offering "Bird Encounters" every day, 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., and free admission every Wednesday through March. The aviary is also accepting registration for its spring break camps. The camps will be in session April 2-6, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (801-596-8500 or www.tracyaviary.org)

Thanksgiving Point, 3003 N. Thanksgiving way, will host a half marathon, 5K run and children's one-mile run to raise funds for the Museum of Natural Curiosity on April 28. Registration is $55 per runner for the half marathon, $25 for the 5K and $15 for the children's run through Feb. 29. Registration continues until April 14, but prices will increase.
