Eva Dinse Retzlaff9/8/1924 ~ 2/28/2012Eva Dinse Retzlaff our sweet mother, stepmother, grandmother, great grandmother, great aunt and wonderful friend passed away Wednesday, February 8th. We will always remember her for her faithful care and attention to her family and unwavering support and kindness to her many friends. She lived and loved to be of service and will be dearly missed by many. Eva was reliable, generous, thoughtful, dedicated, and hard workingall qualities that helped her live a long comfortable life surrounded by family and friends who cherished her. We will long mourn her passing. Eva was born in Falkensee bei Berlin Germany, September 8th 1924 to Bruno Dinse and Erna Nickel Dinse. She immigrated to the United States in 1952, and has been a citizen since 1957. She married Carl F. Retzlaff October 15th 1952 in the Salt Lake Temple. Eva was also an active and devoted member of the LDS church. She is survived by her sister, Christa Hamil, brother, Hartmut Dinse (Ruth), son, Martin Retzlaff, his four children and three grandchildren, stepsons, Carl Retzlaff (Doris), their three children and seven grandchildren, and many more beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear special friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl, brothers, Peter and John Dinse, stepdaughters, Miriam Edgar and Dagmar Winward, and stepson-in-law, William Winward. Funeral services to be held Monday, February 13th 1:00 p.m. at the Salt Lake 31st Ward 1078 South McClelland Street (1040 East).
