Obituary: FORMAN, VELMA HEBDON

Velma Hebdon Forman1915 ~ 2012Our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully on February 9, 2012 after a long and fulfilling life. Born on April 25, 1915 to Edward and Ellen Auger Hebdon. She was the second child with six brothers and four sisters. She married Stanford Forman in the Cardston, Alberta Temple, June 10, 1936. Together they had two children, Eldon (Marsha) Forman, Nedra (Don - deceased) Fullmer; 9 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren.Velma always said she had lived a full and happy life. She had seen so many changes through the years. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many positions and served in the Salt Lake Temple. She always found it in her heart to help those in need. It may have been a loaf of fresh bread, homemade jam, or peaches from her tree. She loved quilting and made several. She crocheted many handkerchiefs and shared them with her family.Velma joins her husband, Stan, as well as many loved ones who have gone before her. We love you mom and know that your many legacies and memories will be handed down and cherished through your posterity. In addition to her posterity, Velma is survived by her sister, Hazel Hansen and brother, Harold Hebdon and many extended family.Funeral services will be held Monday, February 13th, 12:00 noon at the South Jordan 7th Ward, 2200 W. 9750 So. with a viewing from 10:00 11:45 a.m. prior to services, under the direction of Redwood Memorial Mortuary.The family would like to express their gratitude to Vicky and her staff at "Our House" for all their love and help and Bridgett and her staff at Access Hospice for their love and care of mom.
