SALT LAKE CITY — City officials are calling on Salt Lake City women to complete an anonymous online survey about their experiences to help the city better respond to their needs.

The survey includes questions about education, health and public safety, and social and political economics. The city's Office of Diversity and Human Rights and the Human Rights Commission's Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women say the results will help them respond to the real needs of women in Salt Lake City.

The convention represents an international agreement that affirms principles of fundamental human rights and equality for women around the world. In Salt Lake City, its goal is to help inform the development of public policies based on constituent input and factual evidence compiled through research.

The survey will run through Feb. 29. For more information, visit www.slcclassic.com/mayor/divHR/.
