SALT LAKE CITY — With the dust settling on the 2012 signing classes, national recruiting services are already looking forward to 2013. ESPN recently released its top 100 national recruits for 2013, which includes Cottonwood's Cooper Bateman.
Bateman is a 6-foot-3, 200-pound quarterback prospect who has already received offers from BYU, Utah and Utah State, as well as a lot of interest from prominent Pac-12 and Big-12 programs. He threw for 2,484 yards and 25 touchdowns a year ago for the Colts.
Bateman's recruitment was profiled last summer by the Deseret News.
