"HARMONY: The Music of Life," Brigham Young University Young Ambassadors, Tantara Records, $19.98

The new BYU Young Ambassadors album “Harmony: the Music of Life” mirrors the live energetic performance of the song and dance group with high-flying tunes “Casey at the Bat," “Haven’t Met You Yet,” “Let the Good Times Roll” and “Sing, Sing, Sing.”

The double CD includes 25 songs, and is the ninth album for the popular Brigham Young University world-traveled group. Listening to the CD feels as if you are almost there, watching the live performance, and feeling the passion of the performers.

Sentimental tunes “When I Fall in Love,” “Family,” “The Way of Things” and “You’ll Never Walk Alone” tug at the heart strings with melody and storytelling.

The message of “Harmony” is the music of life, and the CD bursts with songs that travel down paths of childhood, growing up, falling in love, family and growing older. Artistic director Randy Boothe has incorporated songs from Broadway shows, George Gershwin, Michael BublÉ and Benny Goodman to create a mood lifting, family friendly array of songs.

The Young Ambassadors are a highly talented group of BYU students who not only help with the production of “Harmony," but the members are also involved in outreach programs, firesides, service opportunities and other events.
