Online scriptures: I’ve often featured the amazing new features of the online scriptures, but this article from LDSTech succinctly outlines (with some nice graphic illustrations) all the “Additional Features in Reading Scriptures Online on LDS.org.” For instance, “When you’re reading scriptures online, you can click links to jump quickly from passage to passage. This can be especially helpful if you’re studying a topic and moving through a list of references to the topic. Rather than searching out each passage — an exercise that not only tests your knowledge of where each book is, but also your dexterity to turn pages and navigate chapters and verses — you simply click a link and go straight to the highlighted passage.” Click in to learn more!
Visiting teaching: You have two more days to get your visiting teaching done and this blogger makes it easy with “Visiting Teaching Handouts (for) January 2012.” Click, download, print, cut, and give!
Treasure map: If you have little kids and are in need of a family home evening activity, then here, use this downloadable, printable “Primary Treasure Map Puzzle” that, as the title suggests, can also be printed out for a Primary lesson or sharing time.
Vienna church: I love these “Ride to Church” features on this blog, today’s installment is from Dean, who takes us on a virtual trip through the incredibly beautiful streets of Vienna, Austria, to his chapel. Enjoy!
Emily W. Jensen updates "Today in the Bloggernacle" on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, presenting the best from the world of LDS-oriented blog sites. Her extended "Bloggernacle Back Bench" appears on Tuesdays.
