PROVO — Playing one of it worst halves of basketball of the season, BYU trails Loyola Marymount at halftime, 34-28, at the Marriott Center.
The Cougars shot 0-for-12 from 3-point territory and just 11-for-31 from the floor.
Fortunately for BYU, Noah Hartsock, who is coming off of his worst shooting nights of the season earlier this week, has turned things around, hitting 6-of-7 shots for 15 points and scoring 10 of BYU's first 12 points.
The rest of the team is shooting a miserable 5-of-24 from the field.
Loyola Marymount is led by Drew Viney, who has 15 points.
BYU's Charles Abouo had two fouls in the first two minutes of the game and has scored five points.
