SALT LAKE CITY — Several Utah hotels have been named among the best in the nation.
TripAdvisor, a travel website, announced Thursday that five luxury hotels in the Beehive State were selected as TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice winners.
Winners were ranked in categories of best luxury, best bargain, best for service, bed & breakfasts and inns, all-inclusive, spa, and trendiest.
The Grand America in downtown Salt Lake City was ranked as the second-best luxury hotel in the U.S., the Waldorf Astoria Park City ranked fifth and the St. Regis Deer Valley in Park City ranked 18th. The Sky Lodge in Park City was rated the 14th-best overall hotel in the U.S., while the Red Mountain Resort in Ivins ranked as the 16th-best relaxation spa in the country.
In total, nearly 4,000 properties were recognized this year with dedicated lists featured for 30 countries and eight regions worldwide, a news release stated.
