Prophetic testimony: Listen as the “Prophets of the Restoration” each bear witness, most in their own voice, of their witnesses of Jesus Christ and testimonies of the Restoration. I love President Wilford Woodruff’s explanation that “This is my testimony, spoken by myself, into a talking machine.” Wow! What a powerful compilation that you can share with your family and friends.
FHE goals: If goal-setting is still on your mind, then check out some great family home evening ideas for making “New Year’s Goals” step by step at sofiasprimaryideas.blogspot.com.
Literally, you put the goals on steps and teach your family how goals can be accomplished little by little, step by step. Check the full lesson/treat/activity ideas out.
And speaking of goals, I loved these “2012 goal pages” from preparednotscared.blogspot.com that you can download, print, and use to keep track of your spiritual, financial, educational, physical, and family goals for this year. How handy!
Finally, did you make a goal to better your scripture study? Then these printable “Scripture Reading Charts” from lds.about.com might be just the ticket to help keep you organized and on track to make that goal a reality! Click in and print out!
Film festival: Today you can see the full schedule for 11th annual LDS Film Festival. Being held in Orem from January 25 through January 28, the roster looks full of fascinating films. And as the poster says it’s all about the filmmakers’ abilities to envision, create, and illuminate. Awesome.
Emily W. Jensen updates "Today in the Bloggernacle" on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, presenting the best from the world of LDS-oriented blog sites. Her extended "Bloggernacle Back Bench" appears on Tuesdays.
