SALT LAKE CITY — A 24-year-old Taylorsville man is in jail after police say he entered his ex-girlfriend's house and pointed a gun at her.
Police say Timothy Albert Priest, the father of the woman's two children, was uninvited when he entered the home on Dec. 2. Priest then "pulled a black handgun from his pocket, cocked the gun and pointed it at (the woman)," according to charges filed Monday in 3rd District Court. He yelled at the woman and then left the house, the charges state.
Priest has been charged with aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony. He's being held in the Salt Lake County Jail on $50,000 bail.
