BYU’s players took care of business in their final 2011 home game inside LaVell Edwards Stadium. After a somewhat sluggish quarter and a half by the offense, BYU clicked into high gear, and when that happened, the Cougars brushed aside New Mexico

Best outing of the year for Heaps. Granted, he had great protection, but he really did look sharp. He's definitely a keeper. More importantly, as the ESPN announcers continued to mention, this team is young. It will be really good next year.

Calm down everyone remember this was WAC opposition. Yes the WAC did the Cougars a solid by lining up some teams to play for the 2011 Independent season.
