SALT LAKE CITY— The Division of Motor Vehicles has a new way to help Utah drivers keep their vehicle registration up to date.
Instead of waiting for a reminder postcard, drivers can now go to dmvremindme.utah.gov to set up email reminders.
“We are continually looking for ways to make the vehicle registration process simple and convenient for Utah drivers,” said DMV Director Brad Simpson. “Using your specified email address, easily link your license plate or plates to set up an email reminder. Knowing that your registration expiration is approaching allows for improved planning so that you can keep all vehicle registrations current.”
On average, 2.4 million vehicles are registered every year in Utah. Registering online is the most convenient way to manage your vehicle registration and simultaneously reduces the paper impact of postcard reminders. The free online service simplifies the process for managing and renewing your vehicle registration.
DMV Remind Me, Renewal Express and On the Spot are three critical online services offered in partnership with Utah.gov, the official website for the state of Utah.
