Hit hard by defections in recent weeks, the Big East Conference is looking to add new members as part of a plan that would include Western and Eastern divisions.
BYU is considered a candidate to join the Western Division, according to the Washington Examiner.
Meanwhile, the Big 12, which added West Virginia last week, could add Louisville and try to convince Notre Dame to switch all of its sports, but football, from the Big East to the Big 12, according to The Oklahoman.
Former BYU quarterback John Beck had a rough outing with the Washington Redskins on Sunday, losing 23-0 to the Buffalo Bills.
Former Cougar wide receiver Austin Collie had his best game of the season, catching 5 passes for 44 yards.

Until BYU can beat a BCS team, they shouldn't be looking to join a BCS conference...they have already lost to three BCS teams this year on national TV. Just can't get any BCS respect when you lose on a national stage.
