High school football: Rich Rebels tame the Tigers for 3rd win of season

RANDOLPH — The fall weather here was about as comfortable as the Rich Rebels' 42-0 win over the visiting Tigers from Milford on Friday.

If the letter "e" in team stands for everyone, Friday's triumph was a team win. At least 13 different Rebels found the ball in their hands as the home team put everyone to work and evened their record to 3-3. Rich also spead the scoring around as five different players found the end zone.

Milford (1-5) has a young team but maintained its composure and effort throughout the contest despite being behind on the scoreboard. Rich now turns its attention to a much anticipated matchup with the undefeated Duchesne Eagles, who are the No. 1 team in 1A.

Rich and Duchesne have staged many epic contests over the past several seasons, and another good one should be on tap next week.
