Where will the Utah Utes be going bowling this season?

Yes, it's way too early to tell. That, however, hasn't stopped a few media outlets from venturing predictions after the Utes have played just three games.

ESPN.com's Mark Schlabach predicts a Utah-Florida State meeting in the Sun Bowl.

Scout.com has the Utes taking on Georgia Tech in El Paso.

Another ESPN.com prognosticator, Brad Edwards, foresees a Utah-Kansas State clash in the Holiday Bowl, while Jerry Palm of CBSSports.com also sees the Utes in San Diego, facing Missouri.

USC quarterback Matt Barkley was reprimanded by the Pac-12 for comments he made about Arizona State linebacker Vontaze Burfict. The ESPN.com link also includes a photo that paints a clear picture of the situation.

ESPN 700 has interviews with Kyle Whittingham, Norm Chow, Trevor Reilly, Morgan Scalley and Brian Blechen. Washington linebacker Cort Dennison, a graduate of Judge Memorial in Salt Lake City, also spoke with "The Bill and Spence Show."

— KSL.com's Robert Jackson has put together a scouting report on the Washington Huskies.

Craig Bolerjack, who called last weekend's Washington-Colorado game and is slated to call the Utah-Arizona State clash, talked football with DJ & PK on 1320 KFAN.
