Utah recruit Justin Thomas won't be playing high school football anymore. Turns out the defensive back from West Orange-Stark (Texas) is too old to do so. Thomas will, however, complete course work early and plans to enroll at the U. this spring.

Former Utah receiver Steve Smith and ex-Ute assistant coach Fred Graves, who are now with the NFL's Carolina Panthers, are profiled in a recent story by the Charlotte Observer.
