SALT LAKE CITY — Four people from Michigan were arrested Wednesday in Salt Lake City for investigation of crimes related to prostitution.
Salt Lake police vice detectives were working undercover responding to Internet ads for escorts, according to police.
Satoria Youngblood, 27, of Flint, Mich., and Romney Salem, 30, of Warren, Mich., were arrested for investigation of exploiting prostitution and money laundering.
Robert Lee Jackson, 24, of Flint, Mich., was arrested for investigation of exploiting prostitution. Catina Bacon, 19, was arrested for investigation of felony money laundering, sex solicitation and not having a sexually oriented business license.
Last week, three people from Colorado were arrested for allegedly bringing a 14-year-old runaway girl across state lines to engage in prostitution. They, too, were contacted by undercover officers after placing an ad on a free classified ads website.
